Marble (English: Marble) originally refers to the white limestone with black patterns produced in Dali, Yunnan Province. The cross section can form a natural landscape painting of ink and wash. In ancient times, marble with a pattern was often used to create a painting or mosaic.

Later, the name marble gradually developed into limestone that was used to make architectural decoration materials in all colors. White marble is generally called white marble, but the white marble used to translate western statues is also called marble. Regarding the name of marble, there is a saying that the marble quality of Dali in our country was the best. It got its name.

Marble is the metamorphic rock formed by the original rock in the crust through the high temperature and high pressure in the earth's crust. The internal force of the crust promotes the process of qualitative change of all kinds of original rocks. The qualitative change refers to the change of the original rock structure, structure and mineral composition. The new rock type formed through qualitative change is called metamorphic rock. Marble is mainly composed of calcite, limestone, serpentine and dolomite. Its main component is calcium carbonate, accounting for more than 50%. Others include magnesium carbonate, calcium oxide, manganese oxide, and silicon dioxide. The general nature of marble is relatively soft, which is relative to granite. Of course, you don't have to bother with this because the geological time is calculated in billions of dollars. In our lifetime, this qualitative change is a limited change. Marble floor tiles have attracted the attention of consumers with their gorgeous appearance and very practical features. Different from other building stones, the texture of each marble floor tile is different. The marble with clear and crooked texture is smooth and delicate. It is like a visual feast once and for all, and it is installed in the living room. Can set off the room more elegant and generous.

Marble is easily stained. Use less water for cleaning. Regularly wipe with a damp cloth with mild detergent, then wipe it dry with a clean, soft cloth and polish it to make it glossy. Or wipe carefully with a liquid cleaner, use lemon juice or vinegar to clean the stains, but the time for the lemon to stay on it is preferably no more than 2 minutes, repeat if necessary, then wash and dry. For minor scratches, special marble polishing powders and conditioners are available. For the old or precious marble furniture should be handled by professionals.
